A brief history of world bearings

The 17th century was the start-up period of modern bearings. It was not until 1794 that the first patent on the ball channel was born, and an iron manufacturer in England used ball bearings to manufacture the axle bearings of the carriage.

From then until the 1850s and 1860s, ball bearings were widely used in children's carousels, propeller shafts, machine gun turrets on warships, armchairs and bicycles.

In 1883, Friedrich Fischer, the inventor of the ball mill, proposed the idea of using a suitable production machine to grind steel balls of the same size and accurate roundness.

The two world wars stimulated the development of the military industry and the machinery industry. It was found that bearings were used in automobiles, aircraft, tank armor, machine tools, instruments, meters, bicycles, sewing machines and other fields.

In recent decades, with the rapid development of high and new technologies such as aerospace, nuclear power industry, electronic computers, opto-electromagnetic instruments, and precision machinery, the world bearing industry, which reflects the level of contemporary science and technology, has entered a comprehensive innovation in manufacturing technology, rapidly developing varieties, vigorously Improve performance, accuracy, and become increasingly mature and perfect in a new historical period.
